And April 4 the Date When Democrats of the Tenth District Will —Elect a Chairman. , ——— A. J. Law, chairman ,of the democratic committee of the tenth district, has issued a call to. the county chairmen of the district to meet at Kentland, Tuesday, April 4, for the purpose of electing a district chairman. A secretary and .treasurer will also be to elect. The meeting will convene m, _Mr. Laws, who was appointed district~chairman to sucfceed Charies JrMurphyrof Brookjftpnr ■wtro-'resigned a few months ago, is a candidate for the chairmanship, and is opposed by M. C. McDonald, of Williamsport. George E. Hershman, of Crown Point, who was nominated for congress on the democratic ticket at the recent primary, will attend the meeting and deliver an’address. Quite a number of local democrats are maknig their arrangements to attend.
