To this union were born six children, five of whom survive, Mrs. Edna Yocam, of Checotah, Okla., Walter R. Lee, Mt. Ayr; Chas. A. Lee and Mrs. Jennie Maxwell, of Chekotah, Okla., and Miss LaVera Lee, who lived with her mother in Rensselaer. The husband and the other son have preceded her. ~ Early in life she united with the Baptist church, but upon her removal to Rensselaer she became a member of the Presbyterian church and continued one of its most faithful members. She was also one of the circle of the Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic. Through her life of moble unselhshness and sacrifice she endeared herself to all who knew her and they as well as the loved ones will feel her loss more keenly through all the days to come.
