Five years ago, before we were married, you were all, for giving women the vote; but now— Mrs. Cross—Now I’m against it, and I’ll tell you why. A woman would use about as much judgment in voting for it man as she uses in selecting one for a husband; and just see what a failure she generally makes of that.
