A mystery hangs over the fate of the gallant members of the Fifth Norfolk regiment who made a wild charge into a Gallipoli forest and have since been lost to sight and sound. All the eligible men of King George s Sandringham estate enlisted as a body in the regiment. The king personally knew practically every member of the Company.
