Miss Mary Harper Married To Delphi Young Man.
Delphi Citizen-Tinies. The marriage of Miss Mary' Harper, eldest daughter of Rev. and Mrs. C. L. Harper, and Gwin Smith, son of Mayor and Mrs. W. C. Smith, will be solemnized next Saturday afternoon, March 4th, at t o’clodcat the home of the bride's parents. The wedding will be a quiet one and will be attended only by the two immediate families.- —The marriage of these- -two well known young people is the culmination of a romance started two years ago when the local chapter of the Epworth League sent Miss Harper and Mr. Smith as delegates to the - district convention at South Bend. They are both active workers iji the Methodist church and both are musicians of ability. Miss Harper has been organist of the Methodist church during her father's pastorate here and the congregation deeply regrets her resignation of that position. She is a graduate of the Rensselaer high school and attended Deßauw universTEy7T>eing''a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. Mr. Smith is a graduate of Delphi high school class of 1913, and attended DePauiw university one year and the school of agriculture at Purdue one year. He is a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. Mr. Smith and his bride will reside on the W. C. Smith farm north of this city. Their many friends extend to them best wishes.
