Ministerial Association Endorses Slot Machine Action.

The Ministerial Association of Rensselaer met this morning at the library and passed the following resolution: Whereas, We understand that Mr. Chas. G. Spitler, mayor of Rensselaer, and Mr. Chas, M. gands, assistant prosecutor of Jasper county, have caused all slot machines, punch boards, -and cigar wheels to be removed from all public places in our city; Therefore, Resolved, That we, the Ministerial Association of Rensselaer unanimously endorse such action as being in the interest of law and order and as removing a great temptation -from our midpt, especially harmful to boys and young men who are minors.
