Los Angeles, Cal., Jan. 31, 1916. Rensselaer Depublican, • Dear Sirs: Enclosed you will find money order for renewal of my paper. Am very sorry that I am late in sending this but have just been up two days now from a three weeks’ spell of the grip, and haven’t been able to get down town, but this is an ideal sunshiny day. We have had lots of rain here and many towns were flooded. The mountains were covered with show yesterday and it really made me wish I could get up there.
