Editors attending the state Editorial Association banquet at Indianapolis last week found a wonderfully strong sentiment in favor of Warren T. McQray’s candidacy for governor. In order to fulfill another appointment Mr. McCray was unable to be present, but it was apparent that the program furnished in so far as it concerned the governorship was arranged around his standard. The newspaper men from over the state spoke most encouragingly of the progress McCray is making in his campaign. Forty-four newspaper men from over the state are out for his support, and it was generally expressed sentiment that Mr. McCray would easily lead all the other candidates in the primary.
