Supreme Keeper of. Records & Seal Expected to Exhibit Famous Bible at County Meeting. The Rathbone Bible, the book used by Justice Rathbone, founder of the Knights of Pythias'order, when the first candidate in the page rank took the degree, will be exhibited here at the county meeting of the Knights of Pythias if the plans of County Chairman Davenport are fulfilled. Frederick E. Wheaton, of Minneapolis, Minn., Supreme Keeper of Records and Seal, has promised to be here if possible and to bring the Bible with him. This historic book is now the property of the supreme lodge Knights of Pythias, and is kept in a vault except on special occasions, s. On Monday, Feb. 14th, Mr. Wheaton is to be in Hammond and to have the Bible with him. It was given to Justice Rathbone by his mother in 1846. ’“Much interest attaches to the volume and there is almost as big a rush to see it as there is to see the famous liberty bell. Mr. Wheaton has replied to a request to come here from Hammond and expects to be able at least to attend the afternoon meeting. Knights from all over the county will be very anxious to see the book and hope that the county is widely represented. W. S. Flynn, of Indiana Harbor, district deputy grand chancellor, has sent word that he will be here. Remington and Wheatfield are the other lodges and both are being urged to send large delegations.
