Will Geyer Lost Valuable Rooster at Logansport Show.
One of the most highly prized birds at the Logansport chicken show choked to death on a kernel of corn Friday. The bird belonged to W. E. Geyer, Remington, viceprefcident of the Logansport fanciers’ club, and for which he had refused SSO. The bird had been eating corn a short time before. It was observed to stagger, then fall, and the attention of Geyer was called to the bird, which died shortly after he had reached the- pen. An examination after the death of the fowl showed a grain of corn lodged in the windpipe.
