August Geopp Buys More Land In Jasper County.

Francesville Tribune: A deal was closed here Monday in which August Geopp purchased from Kruger Bros., 87 acres of land, west of Francesville, in Jasper county, now occupied by John Smallfelt. Mr. Smallfelt traded the place recently for a larger farm northwest of Medaryville, to which he will move March Ist. Mr. Geopp owns 160 acres two miles east of Francesville, 290 acres near Pleasant Grove and his latest acquisition runs his total acreage up to 537 acres. Mr. Geopp has used excellent judgment m this community as such purchases have not only- increased in value but have always brought a fair return in profit from crops.
