HANGING GROVE? Mr, and Mrs. Newton Sunderland are entertaining relatives from -Chicago. William Molitor was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bussell at dinner Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Bussell and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bussell ate’turkey dinner with Charles W. Bussell and family Saturday. | . Arthur Ferguson, son of Charles Ferguson, has been quite poorly for the past week and seems to be threatened with a continued sickness. There will he choir practice at the McCoysburg school house Friday night to practice singing in the new song books. All whio are interested in singing are requested to come out and help. Mr. and Mr.s J. R. Phillips went to Chicago Friday morning. Mr. Phillips went to have his eyes treated, he having made some trips to Chicago last summer for that purpose. The doctor did not seem to think his eyes were any fetter. W. A. Stephens came home from the tuberculosis sanitarium at Rockville Saturday evening, where he had gone several days ago for treatment. Mr.. Stephens has asthma quite bad and the sanitarium physician advised that he be doctored for that trouble before they could (begin treatment for tuberculosis: ~ —-—- Wm. and Ignatius Kalb returned home Thursday from Chicago on the 2 o’clock train. They had been spending the holidays with relatives. They also viewed the municipal Christmas tree which was 90 feet high and very finely decorated with jewels, colored electric lights and thousands of other beautiful things. A continuous throng of people, who were kept on the move iby the police, viewed the tree. A. C. Panboast has (bought of Marion I. Adams & Son a new Chevrolet Four-Ninety.
