MURDER PLOTTED IN RENSSELAER

Sterfthy Asaaferin Had Well Laid Plans For Taking Ufe—Vdws That Nothing Will Prevent. A well-planned murder, deep-dyed in its premeditation, has been discovered in Rensselaer. The officers of the law were not instrumental in determining the plans and gave very little aid in unearthing the well-de-veloped plans for assassination. To accuse one of murder intention would be a serious charge and The Republican would be throwing itself liable if it gave the names of the persons (identified with the plot. However, ‘t is known that.the plans were all made, the scene of the murder selected and the fact established that the motive of the murder was greed. The victim has become somewhat alarmed by the conduct of. persons hitherto regarded as friends but had not confided these feeling of alarm to any person. The assassins declare that they will carry out their plans of life destruction and that nothing will prevent them from having the turkey for their Christmas dinner.
