M. L. Ford took dinner with Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Bussell Wednesday. Ernest Cook returned home Saturday from Clifton, 111., where he has been husking corn. Chester Miller came home Monday from Tippecanoe county, where he had been husking corn. R. V. Johns, the blacksmith, has been working almost day and night shoeing horses. He has had an extra man most of the time to help. A hand ax was taken from the stone road at the north end a few days ago. Its return to the owner, C. W. Bussell, would be much appreciated. The choir met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. McDonald Tuesday evening to practice singing for the Christmas entertainment to be given Friday evening, Dec. 24th. Sam Noland went up to the Mrs. Anna Warner farm Wednesday to gtt Mme cattle he has had on stalk pasture. Sam expects to open his silo and begin feeding in about a week. Adam Ringeisen, of Sheridan. Minn., came through with a couple of carloads of cattle for the Chicago market Mordcy and while near he just came on down here for a visit of a few days with relatives. M. L. Ford und • Frank Ringeisen shipped a load of stock Wednesday night This is Frank’s second experience at buying hogs and his friends hope he will be so successful as to warrant a further extension of his shrewd ability.
