Unearthed Old Cuba.

While digging trenches iirahe forest of Champenoux, French soldiers discovered a hoard of ancient French coins of the early seventeenth century, evidently buried at the time of the French entry into Loraine under Louis XIII. Under the provisions of the law half the treasure will go to the state and the other half to the finders. The prefect of Nancy has undertaken to have the soldiers' share of the coins sold at auction in their behalf. The remainder will be placed In the Nancy museum.
