Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Neeves, who have been spending several weeks in this city, left today for Indianapolis, where they will visit their son. They expect to go from there to the south to remain during the winter months, probably in Florida. Mr. Neeves purchased 106 acres of land near Newland some time ago and has been here to look after his interests. Ed Huntington, of near Mt. Ayr, went to Indianapolis today to see his brother, Earl, who has been taking treatment at the Methodist hospital for some ime. Earl had an attack of typhoid fever and has not recovered from it entirely, suffering from acute kidney trouble since the fever left. He has been improving slowly since he was taken to the hospital but is not yet well enough to be brought home.
