Josiah Thompson is getting better. Mrs. Victor Boyle is visiting her brother in Laporte. Supt. Lanison visited the school here last Friday. Mrs. Jake Spitzer is visiting her mother near Virgie this week. Mrs. Isaac Kight visited this week with her daugnter in Monon. Wm. Spry and wife, of South Dakota, are here visiting relatives. There will be preaching services at the M. E. church next Sunday eve. Special temperance services at the Christian churcn Sunday evening. W. S. McConnell and family and Lou Moffitt autoed to Rensselaer last Monday. Several of the school children attended a social out south of town Friday evening. Mrs. Bradford, mother of Mrs. Petty, returned Wednesday to her home in Bloomfield, Ind. Lois Meader taught the primary room Monday while Mrs. Petty went to Rensselaer on business. Bom, to Albert Roorda and wife, last week, a son. Also a daughter to Cary Williams and wife. Frank Brouhard and Carl Trump came back Tuesday from North Dakota, where they' have been several weeks. The M. E. Sunday school was unusually large Sunday, it being rally day and several not in the habit of coming were there.
