Mrs. E. M. Reed went to Chicago Heights Sunday. Wm, Jordan went to Chicago Wednesday to visit relatives. Mr. Finch, auditor of the American Express Co., of Lafayette, visited Gifford and Newland Tuesday. Miss Chede Jordan visited her mother last week and is attending a case in Rensselaer at present. G. M. Beebe enjoyed a visit from his brother from the southern part of the state the early part of the week. Miss Nettie Jordan and Mr. and Mrs. Jesky and family, of Aurora, 111., were visitor sat the Jordan home Sunday. Aug. Brautigan returned to GaryTuesday to resume his work. His family will continue to reside in Newland.
