Jesse Gates left yesterday for Glencoe, Minn., having been called there by a message announcing that Mrs. Gates was seriously sick with pneumonia. J. Montgomery. The Comrade Fox trial comes up at Kentland today. It was a year ago on Oct. 15th that the Fox domirile near the old depot was raided and some whiskey found and he claims that it was for “home consumption.” The jury will pass judgment on it today.
