Goodland Ball Player Fined In Lafayette Friday. Lafayette journal. While returning to his home at Goodland yesterday afternoon in his automobile, James Mead drove past a street car that stopped to unload a passenger at Salisbury and State streets and was arrested by Marshal Harve Sense and taken before Justice William Lupgar, where the law was explained to him and he pleaded guilty- saying he had no. knowledge of such an ordinance and did not intend to violate the law.
