Goodland is organizing a band. Oysters at Fate’s College Inn. Ray Laßue made a .business trip to Danville, 111., today. Cabbage is selling at $2 a ton, the low price being caused by the immense crop. Charels Clift returned last evening from Johnson City, Tenn., where he attended the funeral of his aged father, William Clift. His daughter, Miss Beatrice, who accompanied him, stopped off in Indianapolis for a day’s visit. 1 Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Long will spend Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. George K. Hollingsworth in Chicago, where they will jointly celebrate their twentysixth wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Long were married on Sept. 26, and Mr. and Mrs. Hollingsworth on Sept. 27.
