HANGING GROVE.

Chas. Bussell, W. E. Poole and Wm. Erb attended the state fair Thursday. iSimon Cook, C. C. Randle and Chas. Erb and family attended the Kankakee fair last week one day. M. O. McDonald and son, Ray, of near Monticello, visited Mr. and Mrs. R. C. McDonald and other relatives here Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Kendall, of Marion, are visiting relatives and friends here. Mrs. Kendall was formerly Miss Alta Parker. Saturday evening, Sept 18th, will be quarterly meeting at McCoysburg. Dr. Wood will deliver the sermon. Everybody welcome. Ed Randle has added 20 feet more to his cement silo, making it 60 feet high. It is 18 feet in diameter and with the exception of the Lawler silos, is as large as any in the country. He has also had two large cement tanks built in his feed yard near the silos.
