John DeFries spent labor day here ■with his family. James R. Craig went to Chicago Monday on business. Ernest Parks, of Lake Village, is haying here with Tunis 'Gebhart. Harry Klein, of Chicago, is visiting his friend, Adolph Pewestorf and wife. Mrs. Earl Parks spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tunis Gebhart. Two sisters of Adam Miller visited with their bachelor brother here last week. John Benkhof, of Chicago, visited here last week with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Benkhof. Henry and Erne Boldenow, of Hammond, are visiting their uncle, Henry Summers and family. Mr. and Mrs. Thos. McKee, of Chicago, are visiting at the home of her mother, Mrs. A. Derkinderen. Otto Sickel, of Chicago, returned to the city Saturday after several days’ outing at the Diana Club. Several relatives from Chicago and Hammond visited here Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Peter Summers. Henry Vandersyde and a party of friends, of Roseland, are taking an outing at the Vandersyde club house. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sebastian and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Walsh and son are spending the week at the Diana Club. . Mrs. S. L. Fridus and children, of Chicago, returned home last Friday after a week’s visit with her father, B. Goldstein, and brother, Ike.
