George Coffman went Monday to work at Hebron. Adolph Pewestorf and wife visited relatives at Kersey last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Will Haberinan, of Hammond, visited here over Sunday. Otto Peck, of Chicago, is here spending his vacation with Charles Jensen. Mrs. Mcßee, of Monon, is here visiting her daughter, Mrs. J. M. Ward and family. ■* Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Kight visited with the Hess family at Graasmere last Sunday. Auditor J. P. Hammond and family, of Jasper county, autoed through here Monday. Mrs. Carl W. Jansen went last week to Chicago to visit at the home of her daughter. Peter Summers and son were called to the bedside of Mrs. Summers on account of her serious illness. Miss Meta Schulze and Mrs. Ed Greeney and Richard Trout are here visiting Mrs. Gus Franke and family. Mrs. Peter Summers, who is at a Chicago hospital for treatment for injuries she received some time ago by accidentally falling down stairs, is reported to be not improving as rapidly as was expected.
