Charlie Stevenson spent Sunday and Monday in South Bend visiting friends. Mrs. C. J. Hobbs has been confined to the house with quite a severe attack of mumps. F. E. Lewis attended a meeting of the directors of the C. & W. V. in Chicago last Monday. Misses Dorothy and Ruth Crabb, of South Bend, are spending a few days with Pauline and Dorothy Lewis. Chas. Stevenson, mother and sister and uncle W. A. Stevenson expect to start on an auto trip to Ohio Friday and expect to be gone about ten days. The farmers are improving the opportunity adorded by the few days of good weather and are busy thrashing. Good yields of both wheat and oats are reported. '
