Kankakee Valley Review. Anna Rasmussen and niece autoed Saturday to Wheatfield on a shopping trip. Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Goar, John DeArmond and John Shirer were Wheatfield visitors Saturday. Gerald and Pat Maloney took a whole Buick load of lady friends to Wheatfield last Saturday. George Luse came up from Fort Wayne last Wednesday to arrange for the erection of farm residence, barn and other buildings on his farm in Kankakee township. Alf Duggleby was at Wheatfield last Friday and made a pleasant call at The Review office and left the price for reading the truthteller and was the only person who seemed to know that the editor’s birthday was Friday, Aug. 13th.
