He returned to Chicago this morning and will start out on a selling trip to Colorado and will be in the west about two months. Ernest Mann, of Winchester, is substituting for her at the Western Union office. Louis Beecher, southwest of town, has typhoid fever. The case is near the end of the second week and seems to be running about the usual course. Indications are favorable for his recovery. Sheriff McColly returned Saturday from an outing at Lake Manitau, in company with D. D. Pierson, of Chicago Heights. Mrs. McColly and he had spent several days in Chicago and Chicago Heights and she remained for a longer visit with her daughter in Chicago.
