Moosers May Come Back In a Bddy.
Richmond, Ind., Aug. 7.—Wayne county, which has been the one real bull moose in Indiana, most of its county officers being members of that party, is to backslide into the republican ranks. For some time it has been apparent that the one-time strong organization of the mbosers is crumbling to pieces. Roy Fry, secretary of the progressive county committee, has announced that he favored a joint meeting of the republican and progressive county committees to discuss ways and means whereby the amalgamation of the two might be made complete. Edward Warfel, treasurer of the county bull moose committee, is to be a candidate for county treasurer on the republican ticket next spring, and there are numerous other signs of the “get together” spirit. Lewis S. Bowman, chairman of the Wayne county republican committee, ■said that at the Sixth district'republican love feast, which is to be held in Richmond this fall, probably in November, that all republicans, even those who formerly called themselves moosers, would be welcomed. On this occasion, it is predicted, the formal obsequies of the Wayne county moose organization will be held.
