Globe Trotter Pawns Dog.
Denver^, Colo.—l’ve loaned money on glass eyes, false teeth, wooden legs and ear trumpets, but this is the first time I ever took a chance on a dog," declared Joseph Sobol of the National loan office, as he stroked the soft fur of a big St. Bernard dog, which was “soaked" by its owner for a $lO loan. The dog answers to the name of Prince. He is the property of a globe trotter, whose name the pawnshop owners refuse to reveal “for business reasons.” He has been all over the North American continent with his master and would now be en route to Canada with said master but for conditions which made it necessary that he be left behind.”
