Rossville Editor Is Attacked By Mad Mob.
G. B. Terrell, editor of the Rossville Journal, was attacked by an infuriated mob of Rossville men in his office just after midnight on Thursday morning. The editor sleeps in his office. He was awakened by a noise of breaking glass and when he went to the window he was greeted with a shower of rocks. Mr. Terrell is a fluent writer and in many instances has tread on the toes of a number of Rossville people. He has always made a bitter fight against mail order houses. Some of the Rossville people, probably not the more respected citizens, fixed themselves for revenge. Editor Terrell was in Lafayette Thursday to see lawyers and will start suit against the city of Rossville. He says that the marshal should be employed to keep peace but when called upon in time of trouble he said he was too busy to give aid.
