NOTICE TO AUTO DRIVERS. There are a few drivers of automobiles in this city who have no regard for the law of the state nor the lives of its citizens, and I hereby request all law abiding citizens to assist the officers in quenching this evel practice by filing an affidavit against any one whom they know to be violating section 10476 c R. S. Ind. revision of 1914. It should not be a license for an industrious man with a family to jeopardise the lives of other industrious men with families. Done this nineteenth day of July, 1915. Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Dedloff, of Newland, went to Hammond to visit his parents. Mrs. F. J. Yarman and children returned to Fort Wayne today after a visit with her daughter, Mrs. John Comer. Mr. and Mrs. D. Entles, who have been looking over some land near here, returned to their home in Lebanon today. Spencer Hollister, of Miles City, Mont., came yesterday for a week’s visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Hollister. Mrs. Ellen Camp returned to Lafayette today after attending the funeral of her little niece, the baby of Mr. and Mrs. Whited. Misses Marjorie and Mary Clark returned to their home in Lafayette yesterday after a week’s visit with their cousin, Miss Ruth Wood. Mrs. John I. Gwin, w>o took the teachers' examination in June, sending her papers to the state superintendent to be graded, has received a two years’ license.
Mis. J. R. Phillips went to Monticello today for a few days’ visit with Mrs. Harve Phillips and her daughter, Mrs. Ray McDonald. She was accompanied by Mrs. Van Wood.

Miss Helen Leathennan was operated upon at Augustana Hospital yesterday for the removal of the adenoids and tonsils. The operation was successful and she is getting along nicely. Mrs. Leathennan is in Chicago with her. *
Mrs. Cleve Eger, who was operated upon at Augustana Hospital in Chicago for the removal of the adenoids and tonsils, is expected home this evening. She has improved since the operation and is feeling much bettor.
