Letters Tell of Responsibility of Company That Will Build Interurban
Some have expressed a doubt of the responsibility of the construction company that is behind O. L. Brown and the promoters of the Lafayette & Northwestern Railroad Co., and W. L. Moyer, who has - been aiding the plan for financing the road wrote a number of banks where the M. A. Tai- _ bott Co. was known and two of the letters received in reply are here published. They show that there is behind the promotion of Mr. Brown the power to construct this railroad and that is an assurance that should lead ail the friends of Rensselaer and its future to support the subsidy proposition in the election to be held tomorrow. Read what Baltimore, Md., and Rome, N. Y., banks say of the M. A. Talbott Co.:

Talbott Construction Company, received. We have always looked upon these men as reliable. We have bonded them in a contract running into the millions and especially a large one on the Barge Canal. Talbott Construction Company have been engineering an extensive contract here in connection with the New York State Barge Canal. We consider Mr. M. A. Talbott personally, as well as the Construction Company, very strong financially.
