O. P. Tabor, of Wabash, was here yesterday and was the successful bidder before the board of commissioners for the construction of the Lewis S. Alter road in Carptenter township. Notice Is hereby given by the Common Council of the city of Rensselaer, Indiana, that on the 28th day of June, 1915, it adopted Declaratory Resolution No. 124, for the vacation of Elm Street in Benjamin & McGee’s Addition to said city from the east line of Luclna Street to the west line of Matheson Avenue. The Common Council of said city baa fixed the 26th. day of July, 1915, as a date upon whfch remonstrances may be filed or presented by persons Interested in, or affected by said proposed vacation, as above described, and on said day, at 8 o'clock p. m., said Common Council will meet in the council chamber for the purpose of considering- and hearing any remonstrances which may have been filed or presented, and for the purpose of taking final action thereon.
