Kankakee Valley Review. Eight Chicago friends spent the 4th here with Dr. Tate. John DeFries, of Chicago, spent the 4th with his family. Robert Boswinkle, of East Chicago, visited home folks here over the 4th. Ernie Boldenow and Mr. and Mrs. Summers, of Chicago, visited here over Sunday. Esther Johnson, of Chicago, visited here the 4th with Mrs. John DeFries and family. Mrs. Fred Bardwell and daughter, Edna, of Pekin, Hl., visited over the 4th with relatives. Ye editor and family and Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Nees and two children spent the evening of the 3rd here. Born, on June 25th, 1915, Woodrow Zechariah Spitler to Zechariah Spitler and wife. One more democrat. Dr. Tate attending physician. Frank Hall, Charlie Fuller, Al Clark, Bill Bathurst and Frank Burgess went Monday and attended the celebration at Crown Point. Mr. and Mrs. George Swisher, of Wheatfield, visited here over the 4th with their daughter, Mrs. Wm. Kepperling and family. H. P. Beiler, Dr. Orr, Celeste McAuley, Elenor McAuley, Mr. and Mrs. Charlies Burmeester, George McGowan, and family and John Pedgrift and family were among the visitors over the 4th at the Diana Club.
