Live as In Olden Times.

In eastern Palestine and Arabia are to be found the most picturesque race In the East, those strange, nomadic tribes, the Bedouins. Their mode of life has not greatly changed since Biblical times, and today they steal cattle and camels, and their young men steal wives, as was their wont in Old Testament days. Indeed, the purloining of cattle and camels is considered lawful anymg them, and the more a tribe or an individual can enrich himself in this manner the more their prowess comes to be recognized. These people, however, who live by thieving and move by stealth, are invar ribly hospitality Itself to the stranger within their gates.
