Miss Elizabeth King went to Monticello today to spend a few days. Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Passons went to Monon today to spend the Fourth. Mrs. Lem Hammerton went to iMonticello today to spend a short time with her uncle, Emery Elder, who is in very bad health. Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Smith, of Oklahoma City, who have been visiting his sister, Mrs. W. H. Parkinson, for a few days, went to Attica today. Lynn Parkinson went with them and will spend the Fourth there. A Shetland pony and colt twelve days old were received by express from Redkey last evening by Leslie Clark for his daughter, Ruth. The colt is not as large as the average dog and is attracting considerable attention from those who have seen it.
