Land Buying Approved.

The purchase of 97,888 acres of non-agricultural land by the federal land by the federal government in the White mountains of New Hampshire and the southern Appalachian has been approved by the national forest reservation commission. This brought the total area so far approved for national forests in the east up to 1,275,000 acres.
