Fire Department Called When Mob Threatens.

When Reuben Brown, of Shelbyville, was arrested in that city Sunday mid was headed toward the jail by two officers, he sent them both rolling into the street. He was then handcuffed and taken to jail by four officers, although a large crowd sided in with Brown. After he was in jail the crowd increased to about 300 and they demanded one of the officers. Some one turned in the fire alarm and when the company came they had no trouble in dispersing the mob.
