Mrs. E. L. Hammerton and little daughter are spending today at Parr.
J. P. Hammond and family, D. S. Makeever and wife, D. E. Grow and family, F. M. Donnelly and family, D. W. Waymireand wife, B. F. Alter and wife and E. P. Lane and wife made an auto trip Sunday to Bass T«Va and Lake Maxinkuckee at Culver. They had a fine time and arrived home at about 9:30 at night.
Rev. A. W. Wood, D. D., of Lafayette, district superintendent of the M. E. church for the Northwest Indiana conference, delivered the sermon at the dedication of the new chunk at Belshaw, Lake county, Sunday. In the evening be came to Rensselaer and visited over night with Rev. PosttH..
Bowman Switzer and family, Geo. Daniels and family, Korah Daniels and family, H. G. Daniels and family and the family of Sheriff McColly autoed to Dyer Sunday and spent the day with the family of Franklin Ott, whose children and others were out from Chicago Heights and in all about fifty ate dinner these and spent a most enjoyable day.
