Leopold, has changed jobs and is now working in Mark Schroer’s garage and making a specialty of car washing. The sturdiness of Andalusian horses is attributed to the fact that they feed on a species of wild clover which grows only in the Spanish province of Cadiz. The machines turned out by a large typewriter manufactory are tested by an automatic electrical machine which does the work much faster than human hands. Prosecuting Attorney Sands was called to McCoysburg today to prosecute three or four men on the charge of intoxication, said to have occurred last Sunday. May and wife, of emingtom, were here yesterday looking for a house to occupy when they move here this fall. Mr. May will probably buy, although he may rent if he finds something to suit him. Mr. and Mrs. Earle Reynolds and daughter, Helen, drove to Rensselaer from Detroit Mich., yesterday, in a new Studebaker “six” auto which they had just purchased. A driver from the factory came through with them and they arrived at about 1:30 o’clock at night They will drive to Chicago Friday to attend the races Saturday and next week will drive through to Atlantic City, N. J., where they are to appear in vaudeville. The order of Eastern Star of Rensselaer will serve a picnic dinner at the Kankakee river, near Shelby; to the members of the Rensselaer Masonic lodge, their wives being invited. The members of Roselaiwn Masonic lodge and their wives have been invited as guests of the Rensselaer Eastern Star and Rensselaer Masonic lodge. The picnickers will go from here to the river on the Hoosier Limited and return home in the evening on the milk train, Thursday, June 24th.
