Fred Hamilton Assistant Editor of Daily Paper.
Fred Hamilton, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Hamilton, who has been in the west for the past year, is now the assistant editor at The Daily Capital in Jamestown, N. Dak., where he went after completing his first year in college at Fargo. He has not altogether recovered from the operation he underwent for appendicitis and work in a restaurant which he undertook proved too hard far him and he applied for work in The Capital and was given a job. The editor of The Capital is eo -well pleased with the showing that Fred has made that he wrote a letter to his father saying that Fred was making good ami that every person liked him and that his “ginger” was proving a good thing for the paper. The Capital also prints the following article: . “Fred H. Hamilton, of Rensselaer, Ind., has accepted the position of assistant editor upon the Daily Capital and we bespeak for him the kindly consideration of all the friends of the newspaper. He is a young man, full of pep and ginger, aad is after all the local news and business possible for the Capital. Call 98 and give him your news items.” Fred's first newspaper experience was with The Republican, where he worked as a reporter during the holidays. His many friends here will be pleased to learn that he is making good in this line of work in the west and wiU hope for him unlimited success.
