Trainman Saved Baby.
Pittsburgh, Pa. —Walter Betle, four years old, was playing on a city bridge near where the flooring was being repaired recently. He stumbled on a hole and started to fall to the tracks 25 feet below. A freight train was within a few feet of the bridge, running at high speed. On the roof of the first boxcar Richard Roundtree, a brake man, saw the boy.. He braced himself and caught him as he fall.
