First Train Scared Him.
Danville, Ky— Frightened at the sight of the first train he had ever seen, George Mason, who lives in the cliffs north of High Bridge, on the Kentucky river, threw a rock at the Royal Palm on the Queen & Crescent route. The stone broke a window and hit Ray Fagan. Mason declares he never before saw a train. He thought the thing was some “huge vermin.”
