Hollander Says Peace is Near.

Van Gheell Geldemeester, son of the religious adviser to Queen Wilhelmina has by a brief visit to Washington after conferences in Berlin with high German officials, set in motion much speculation in official and diplomatic quarters about possibility of peace in Europe. While in Washington the visitor gave the impression that there is a peace parley going ors in England as well as Germany and that what was most needed at the present time was a continued pressure by the neutrals for mediation. He intimated to some that - even his own country might be drawn into the conflict if the war is continued, but was hopeful that efforts by the neutrals to mediate if begun now would be luixoaifol.
