Oil Reservoir Burns.

A 35,00 barrel steel tank and 7,000 gallons of crude oil, valued at $15,000, were dets roved by lightning in a storm in Blackford county. The property was owned by a pipe line company and was just north of Montpelier. Other nearby tanks were threatened but were saved by wet blankets being thrown over them.
