HANGING GROVE.
Sam Robinson, of Morocco, and Harve Robinson, of Rensselaer ate Sunday dinner with Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Phillips. The children’s day exercises at Lee Sunday were very good and drew a large crowd of people. Several from this Sunday school attended. R. L. Bussell is taking his annual vacation and substitute carrier Chas. W. Bussell is carrying the mall. On and after July 1, 1915, Route No. 1 will be extended so as to supply the postoffice at Moody. Going west from W. C. Rose’s to Moody and retrace, making 2 3-4 miles. Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Bussell and children and Mrs. John Phillips and son, -Harvey, went to Morocco today to visit Mr. and Mrs. Sam Robinson. Royal, who is the mail carrier out of McCoysburg, will accompany Mr. Robinson over his route out of Morocco today. A Monon brakeman, whose exact name could not be obtained, was caught between some cars at McCoysburg about 2 o’clock Sunday morning, and had one foot cut off above the ankle, and otherwise seriously injured. He was hurried to the hospital at Lafayette, but nothing could be done to save his life. He died at 7:30 Sunday morning. In the hurry to get him away to the hospital they forgot his left foot, which was cut 'clear off, and train No. 5 had to stop and pick it up. It has not been learned as yet just where the balme is laid for the unfortunate accident.
