Town Marshal at New Point Killed Youth —Both Drinking.

WiMis Wolfe, aged 23, was killed at New Point by the town marshal, Thomas Gouge, Thursday night Both had been drinking and the shooting occurred in the rear of a liquor dispensary and there were no witnesses. Gouge has a wife and eight children. He was arrested and placed in jail at Greensburg. Wolfe and Gouge had spent the day in Greensburg and had been at New Point only a short time when the shooting occurred. Gouge refused to make any comment of the affair that led to the murder.
