Fielder Jones Is Much Pleased With Presence of the Former Athletic Star on His Team. Fielder Jones recently remarked that Eddie Plank looked just the same to him as he did eight years ago, and added that he was mighty glad he was with the St. Louis Feds instead of some other team in the same league. “{’lank was the toughest man I ever faced,” said Jones. ■“I could not hit him with a board fence, and I don’t think any other left-hander can.
