Lafayette Man Ground to Death by Monon Train.
John Greulach, of Lafayette, was killed and his body frightfully mutilated by a Monon train at Chalmers Thursday evening. It is presumed that he \yas killed by a passenger train that passes through Chalmers at 9:10 o’clock. Both of his legs were cut off ju*st below the hips and there was a bad gash in the back of his head. He had been visiting in Chalmers for the past three weeks. He was 59 years of age. The Burton & Jones vaudeville team will appear' at the Gayety tonight, singing, talking, dancing, upside down piano playing and Australian boomerang throwing. Two pianos required for this stunt. Finished pictures this season at the Gayety. No serials. 10c and sc.
