Lafayette Man Ground to Death by Monon Train.

John Greulach, of Lafayette, was killed and his body frightfully mutilated by a Monon train at Chalmers Thursday evening. It is presumed that he \yas killed by a passenger train that passes through Chalmers at 9:10 o’clock. Both of his legs were cut off ju*st below the hips and there was a bad gash in the back of his head. He had been visiting in Chalmers for the past three weeks. He was 59 years of age. The Burton & Jones vaudeville team will appear' at the Gayety tonight, singing, talking, dancing, upside down piano playing and Australian boomerang throwing. Two pianos required for this stunt.
