Hansson is taking treatment at one of the Martinsville sanitariums. ' William , Hatton and daughter, Roxy, of Lowell, were here yesterday to see has father, Sylvester Hatton. St. Ignatius, the team which defeated St. Joe here last Thursday, was given a 10 to 1 drubbing by Notre Dame Monday. The eighth grade gave a very enjoyable party Monday evening at the home of Miss Annetta Hansson. About forty were in attendance. Mrs. C. W. Rhoades returned several days ago from West Mansfield, Ohio, where she had gone to see her aged father, W. H. Townsend, who is in quite feeble health. Mr. and Mrs. William Allman, of Chicago, came yesterday to spend several days with Mr. and Mrs. Clint Brown, of Surrey. Mr. Allman is a brakeman on the Monon railroad. Hallie Flynn, of Chesterton, who had been in Indianapolis on business, stopped off in Rensselaer yesterday for a short time. His father and mother are both buried in Weston cemetery. - City Clerk Morlan, City Treasurer, Charles M. Sands, and City Water and Light Superintendent Chamberlin went to Indianapolis yesterday to receive instruction in the new method of keeping the records of the city and the charges for municipal light and water sendee. More rain, more rest and likewise more weeds. There was some rain again last night and there has been a sort of drizzle all day today.
